Earlier this week, Dezeen Awards 2018 announced the interiors shortlist for the inaugural Dezeen Awards. The list features some of the most amazing spaces on the planet, such as a London church transformed into a home or a multicoloured exhibition in Sweden.
The list revealed eight different categories, with a total of 41 project that bring interior designing to a whole new level of perfection. In the race for the the ultimate title you can find a 33-square-meter guest house, a loft apartment once used as a tank station, a pop-up hydroponic farm and an office in a converted villa in Shanghai, projects signed by architects such as Stanton Williams, Conran and Partners, Studioilse or Note Design Studio.
The projects were selected based on three clear criteria: beauty, innovation and whether or not they are beneficial to people and the planet.
The winner of each category will be announced at a ceremony in London later this year and will go on to compete for the interiors project of the year title.
