Italian jeweler and luxury brand Bulgari will open a Bulgari-branded hotel in Tokyo, at the end of 2022. The hotel will occupy the top seven floors (39th-45th), of a skyscraper planned for construction in the Yaesu 2-Chome North District. The tower will also feature offices and retail spaces, in line with the high grade mixed-use development planned for the Tokyo Station area, which is close to some of the best attractions in town such as the Imperial Palace and the vibrant shopping ares of Nihombashi and Ginza.

The hotel will feature luxurious interiors designed by Antonio Citterio, 98 spaciously sized guest rooms (including luxury suites and an extraordinary Bulgari Suite), a bar, restaurant, spa, pool, ballroom, chapel and Bulgari’s signature chocolate shop. Bulgari Hotels & Resorts will manage the hotel, with nightly room rates expected to exceed 80,000 ~ 90,000 Yen (approx. 740 ~ 835 USD).

The 1,500 sqm Bvlgari Spa, offering the ultimate wellbeing experience, immersing and innovative treatments, therapies and grooming for both men and women, and including a state-of-the-art fitness centre and 25-metre indoor pool, will add a further luxurious touch to the guests experience.

Bulgari Hotels and Resorts is a collection of luxury hotels, and currently includes properties in Milan, London, Bali, Beijing and Dubai. New hotels are set to be opened in Shanghai, Moscow and Paris in the following years. Despite being an international metropolis, Tokyo has remained relatively unnoticed by designer-hotel brands, which have just started to enter the Japanese market in the past few years.
