Rolls-Royce Unveils Spectre Bailey: A Bespoke Tribute to a Beloved Pet
In a heartwarming fusion of luxury and sentiment, Rolls-Royce has unveiled a one-of-a-kind edition of its electric Spectre model, crafted as a tribute to a cherished canine companion.
Commissioned by a longstanding client in the United States, the bespoke vehicle, aptly named Spectre Bailey, honors the memory of Bailey, a Labrador-Golden Retriever mix. This luxurious electric coupe features a deeply personal touch: a portrait of the dog intricately inlaid at the rear, making it a rolling homage to loyalty and love.
The exterior showcases a custom two-tone paint scheme inspired by the subtle hues of Bailey’s ear, while a hand-painted coachline replicates the dog’s pawprint in rose gold, matching the iconic Spirit of Ecstasy emblem.
Inside, the cabin is a tactile tribute to Bailey’s fur, blending moccasin and crème light leather with rich brown accents. At its heart lies a masterful veneer composition: 180 individual pieces assembled over four months to form Bailey’s portrait, a testament to craftsmanship and devotion.
The Spectre Bailey stands as a poignant example of how Rolls-Royce’s bespoke artistry can transform personal stories into timeless automotive expressions.
Then, on the passenger side of the dashboard, there’s a motif which recreates Bailey’s paw print once again.
