The Dubai Airshow is one of the largest and most successful air shows in the world, connecting aerospace industry professionals across the world, and it will take place between 14-18 November 2021.
Irkut parent company United Aircraft Corporation has brought one of the new bizliners to Dubai to let attendees see for themselves. Equipped with an additional fuel system that increases the VIP Superjet’s range up to 3,888 nm, the Aurus features a Russian designed and installed interior and a package of options for further enhancements to what Irkut calls a “comfortable cabin.”

The interior of the Aurus Business Jet (ABJ – created on the basis of the Sukhoi Superjet 100) is divided into two zones: the first serves as a meeting room and a place for dinner, and the second is equipped with sofas and LCD panels. The new aircraft has a shower cabin, high-speed internet and a built-in gangway.

ABJ will be able to fly 7,200 kilometers without refueling – the distance from Moscow to Vladivostok – thanks to an additional fuel system first installed on Superjets. Now the maximum flight range of passenger Superjet 100 is from 3 to 4,6 thousand kilometers, depending on the configuration.

The new aircraft will replace the Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) and will consist of 97 percent Russian-made parts. Now the SSJ100 uses 50 percent of domestic parts.

Russia’s SSJ Aurus business jet will cost $40-50 mln.
