Rolls-Royce Cullinan was officially launched in Romania on November 2018, just a few months after the world premiere. Named after the largest diamond ever discovered, the first all-terrain high-bodied Rolls-Royce is a peerless off-roader, capable to conquer any obstacle and reach every destination.

Frank Tiemann, Head of Corporate Communications Central and Eastern Europe, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, shared with the audience some of the great features that makes Rolls-Royce Cullinan a car without opposition in the ultra-luxury SUV segment. He said: “Rolls-Royce Cullinan offers pure luxury and a feeling of gentility on the road, specific to Rolls-Royce brand, in an extremely versatile concept tailored to day-to-day driving experience. The new car, built to incorporate the concept “Effortless Everywhere”, offers luxury anywhere its owner chooses to venture. Rolls-Royce Cullinan is the answer to customers’ requests to fulfill their dream of driving off-road in style. Taking advantage of the “Architecture of Luxury”, our designers created a truly unique and uncompromising vehicle for those who do not accept limitations in their lifestyles”, continued Tiemann.

Present at the launching event, His Excellency Andrew Noble, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Romania, commented: “The UK’s luxury industry maintains increasing levels of investment that helps to create jobs both in Great Britain and around the world. The iconic “Spirit of Ecstasy” stands like no other symbol for “the Best of British”, and we are delighted to see the first 4×4 Rolls-Royce here, in Bucharest.

Michael Schmidt, President of Schmidt Premium Cars and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Service Bucharest said that: “Cullinan will be perfectly at home taking the children to school as it will be arriving at an opera hall on opening night. It will carry you in style to your favorite riverside fishing spot in the mountains while effortlessly ploughing through snowy roads to reach your winter chalet near Poiana Brasov.”

Dozens of road tests all over the world showed that the car is capable to handle rough terrain with confidence and agility. The sophisticated adjustable air suspension secures the famed Rolls-Royce ‘Magic Carpet Ride’ at all terrains whether off- or on-road. At the same time this is the first ever truly “three-box” car in the SUV-segment. Its partition wall creates a distinct environment for passengers, separated from the luggage compartment

Powering the Cullinan and its off-road capability is the new 6.75 litre twin-turbo V12 engine delivering 563bhp and 850Nm of torque to that new all-wheel drive, all-wheel steer system, built to overcome any challenge.

As all Rolls-Royce cars, Cullinan offers the whole suite of bespoke elements specifically developed to meet various demands of its owners.

What impressed us, in particular, are two additional options for prospective Cullinan owners. The first one is the “Viewing Suite”, consisting of two rear-facing leather chairs and a cocktail table no less that electrically glide out of the tailgate at the touch of a button for luxurious viewing. The second one “recreational modules”, are compartments electrically operated, located in the rear of the car, where you can store the accessories and personal belongings necessary for different activities such as  photography, rock climbing, snowboarding, parascending, kite boarding, base jumping, and so on.

Perfectly suited for all kind of daily basis activities, Cullinan owners will only be limited by the imaginations – and their budget. The deliveries will start in the first quarter of 2019.
