The Lyst Index, a quarterly ranking of fashion’s hottest brands and products, has released the list of the most wanted designer brands and products of the moment. The results are based on the online shopping behaviour of more than 5 million shoppers a month searching, browsing and buying fashion across 12,000 designers and stores online.

This quarter result found Gucci back on the first spot, which previously owned by Balenciaga. The second spot was claimed by Off-White, an Italian streetwear and luxury fashion label founded by creative designer Virgil Abloh in Milan, Italy, in 2012. Virgil Abloh’s powerful debut show as artistic director for Louis Vuitton menswear keeping the label firmly in the media spotlight as the cult brand continues its meteoric ascent.

From the T-shirt shirt to the ultimate “ugly” sneaker, Balenciaga’s viral fashion continued to make headlines, enough for the brand to remain in the top, but this time on the 3rd place.

The Royal Wedding in May has propelled Givenchy into the top 5, and Nike has climbed an impressive 11 places to secure the only sportswear spot in the Index. Championed by an international A-list of powerful celebrities and influencers, Versace and Fendi are seeing the benefits of captivating a new generation of millennial fans, while Prada’s iconic nylon accessories line continues to drive brand awareness worldwide.
