Europe’s leading in-water boat show returns to the glittering Bay of Cannes on 11th September 2018, for its 41st edition. The Cannes Yachting Festival will feature almost 600 boats, ranging from motor and sailing yachts to tenders and day boats. They will be showcased across Cannes’s two main ports: the Vieux Port and Port Pierre Canto.

Some of the festival’s highlights are a super-yacht extension on the Vieux Port for new models, exhibitions of boating equipment in the Pantiero and the third edition of the Luxury Gallery, an area in the Palais des Festivals dedicated to luxury crafts and lifestyle.

There will also be another edition of the popular Concours d’Elégance, an exceptional showcase of vintage and modern day boats paying tribute to the rich history of sailing in the French Riviera.

Before the show starts, take a look at some of the most spectacular yachts on display:

Azimut Grande 32 Metri

The Azimut Grande 32 Metri will mark its world debut at Cannes. Designed by Stefano Righini and interior stylist Achille Salvagni, the yacht features a spacious beach club and a lateral garage which can house a five-metre tender and three metre Jet Ski.

Pearl 95

The Cannes Yachting Festival will be the stage of Pearl Yachts’s big reveal of its semi-custom flagship model, Pearl 95. This is the largest vessel ever to be built by the British yacht builder and was styled on the exterior by Dixon Yacht Design, while the interior carries the mark of Kelly Hoppen.

Bandazul

Bandazul

This recently delivered super-yacht will be accompanied by six smaller Princess Yachts at the Cannes Yachting Festival. Bandazul features a number of custom changes, including an extended flybridge hardtop and a modified cockpit. The owner of the yacht also opted for a four-cabin layout instead of the original five cabin design and chose a lower deck VIP suite, to take advantage of the full width of the beam.

Sunseeker 131

Sunseeker will use the stage of the Cannes festival to show off the largest model in its range, the 40 metre 131 yacht. This three-deck yacht enables the owner to tailor every element of the interior design and layout to his own tastes. While the model’s standard configuration can sleep a total of ten guests across five cabins, an opt-in layout enables a maximum of 12 to be accommodated. With plentiful alfresco relaxation and dining options, this yacht boasts a top speed of 23 knots and cruising range of 1,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.

Majesty 100

The Majesty 100 is the first in the Majesty collection to feature a partially enclosed flybridge. The yacht also features a 31.7 metre spacious sky lounge, where guests can enjoy panoramic views. Up to 12 people can be accommodated on the Majesty 100, in five-ensuite guest rooms and a master suiter.
